The war in Ukraine and the global consequences of the Corona epidemic are threatening supply chains around the globe. What companies can do to stabilize their supply chains will be discussed by a panel chaired by ConMoto CSO Marc Heinisch at the Lake Constance Mobility Supplier Summit on May 4 and 5 in Friedrichshafen. The panel includes Hanno Höhn, Chief Procurement Officer, Mann + Hummel; Gerd Hofmann, Director Global Procurement, Grob-Werke; Rainer Straub, CPO, Siemens Mobility; and James Westgarth, Head of Procurement Performance, at Lufthansa.

The experts will talk about the short-term effects of the war and the Corona crisis, from which all industries are currently suffering. These are, for example, the price explosion in material and logistics costs, problems with material availability and transport resources, and the disruption of logistics routes due to sanctions. In addition medium- and long-term effects of the crises as well as strategic supplier and logistics issues are on the agenda. These include security of energy supply, sustainability, re-regionalization of supply chains and supplier risk management in volatile markets.
