At the Burgturnier in Nörten-Hardenberg, Finja Bormann won the first championship of her career, riding „A crazy son of Lavina“. Starting as the last of five into the jump-off, she flawlessly mastered the course within the fastest time of 36.55 seconds and therefore came in the crucial tenths before Tobias Meyer on „Gain Line“ (0/37.82). Swiss Werner Muff (0/40.18) scored third position riding „Jolie“.

The day before, Finja Bormann and her gelding had already proven to be in perfect shape for the championship. They remained without any knockdowns during the first round and qualified for the jump-off as one of eight teams. Later on, „A crazy son of Lavina“ fell short a mere 15 hundredths of a second behind the winner Markus Beerbaum on „Calle“ and flawlessly finished in second place.
