Formula E: Future technologies in mobility

Formula E is representing future technologies in mobility – innovative, contemporary and sustainable. Therefore, ConMoto is a proud advisor and sponsor of the racing stable HWA RACELAB, the most recent team to join the Formula E championship. HWA and ConMoto are driven by a common passion: “We set things in motion.” Or as HWA are putting it: Engineering Speed.

Whereas the HWA racing stable is currently debuting at the fully electrified racing series, they are by no means new to the elite of motorsports. Moreover, they can be proclaimed one of the most successful players in international motorsports in providing the task force for Mercedes AMG who are accounting for eleven driver’s titles and more than 180 race victories of the German Touring Car Championship (DTM). HWA AG was founded by Hans Werner Aufrecht in 1998. They operate within the fields of car racing as well as vehicle and component construction.

E-racing synergizes high-tech and sustainability

ConMoto is more than a mere sponsor to HWA: we are partners who work to achieve peak performances together. ConMoto consultants are supporting the company within the scope of project work regarding the optimization of their production performance and business operations. Stable and efficient processes behind the scenes are an important contribution to fast times on the racing track.

„We are accelerating companies and stand for measurable results.” states ConMoto’s Managing Partner Christoph Siegel. “Our commitment to HWA RACELAB is an exciting challenge. Top notch technical vehicle design and sustainability are going hand in hand.”

Confident Formula E debut

„During the previous weeks and months, we have worked hard to establish a good basis for the entry into this highly competitive series.” says Ulrich Fritz, the team lead of HWA RACELAB.

„We are approaching this task with a healthy mix of confidence and respect. The upcoming season will definitely be a year of learning, but I am convinced that we are going to become an integral part of the series and a force to be reckoned with alike.”

Formula E-Season 18/19

In Formula E season 18/19, Brit Gary Paffet (DTM champion of both 2005 and the running season) and Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne are steering the wheels of both fully electronically operating bolides of HWA RACELAB. After the kick-off in Riad, there will be twelve more races from January to July 2019 in the metropolises of the world: from Marrakech over Hong Kong to New York City. A special highlight will be the home race in Berlin on May 25th, 2019. This race and at least two more can be watched live at the prime time program of one of the German TV stations ARD and ZDF.
